PricePaid: 299 USD (New) Purchased From: N/A Model Year: 2005 Features: [8] It's a 4 string bass with 24 frets and a rosewood neck. PHAT (active bass boost) Mine's in Jewel Blue but it's also available in black. Sounds: [8] It's really fun to slap this bass and the sound brings a smile. PHAT bass gives you up to 15db increase. I use a Fender Bassman amp and I think they compliment each other very well. Action, Fit & Finish: [8] Nice finish! The blue is really cool! Action is great and I can play up and down the neck really fast. Reliability & Durability: [9] I rehearse once per week and do 1 or 2 gigs a month and have had no problems. Don't leave the cable in as it switches on the active circuit and you'll drain the battery. Overall Rating: [8] I fell in luv with the look of this bass. Luckily it sounds good too! It's a comfortable bass and is fine to have strapped round your neck for long periods of time. For what you get this bass is really cheap. I also play guitar and know that Ibanez make very good value for money instruments.
