PricePaid: 1200 USD (New) Purchased From: N/A Model Year: 2005 Features: [8] * Body: Mahogany * Bridge/Tremolo: Combo * Fingerboard: Rosewood * Frets: 20 * Hardware: Chrome * Machine Heads: Shamrocks * Neck Joint: Set Neck * Neck Material: Mahogany * Pickguard: SG * Pickups: Vintage-style TB Plus bass humbucker (neck); Bass Mini-humbucker (bridge) * Scale: 30.5" Sounds: [8] clear ringing bass sound - perhaps a litter lighter sounding than a full scale bass but very nice all the same. Action, Fit & Finish: [8] The finish is well done but for me the most important thing was the short scale with a nice clim neck. Fits my little hand like a glove. The cherry finish is yummy! Reliability & Durability: [9] I've had this for nearly 10 months now and not had a problem. I know it is not long to own something but it does feel very well made. Overall Rating: [9] My dad's always played an SG guitar and I have always like the look of it. With it's short scale this bass was ideal for me. I've played other basses but this short scale just feels so right.
