The Valve Junior is a 5 watt class A with an 8 inch speaker. There's an input jack and a volume knob and that's it.
I bought this for recording as all the reviews were really positive, but sadly I'm a bit disappointed.
It's really loud, which wasn't what I wanted.

Sound: [3]
It's loud and it's muddy.
I've tried different guitars (Strat, Tele and Les Paul) but can't get a good tone - everything's muddy once you turn it up beyond 9 o'clock on the volume.
It's really quite disappointing. It's got a nice clean tone at low volume though.

Reliability & Durability: [9]
The build quality is great - really well made case and components.

Overall Rating: [5]
Ultimately, I really can't see what everyone's getting worked up about.
This is a basic, but loud practice amp.
