I'm sure you know what a Les Paul is like -they're everywhere!

2 Gibson designed Humbuckers
Mahogany set neck
Mahogany body with Alder top

This baby's got binding and gold hardware.

Sounds: [10]
Sounds exactly like you'd expect a Les Paul to sound - IT ROCKS!

Crank one of these up through a Marshall and you'll be happy. What sustain!

My friend's got a real Gibson Les Paul and I really think this matches his and his cost loads more.

Action, Fit & Finish: [7]
The action was a little high out of the box but I got a friend (who works in a music shop) to set it up for me and now it is fantastic.

The gold has started to tarnish but that always seems to happen with gold finished hardware - well what I've seen anyway. Either that or it wears off.

Reliability & Durability: [7]
It's really heavy duty and I think it'll last me for years.

See my comments about the gold finish.

There's nothing like a Les Paul if you like rock and want that heavier sound. I know some people are snobby and have to have a Gibson but this does me just fine. I think what puts some people off is the headstock. Im not such a fan of these bigger headstocks but that's the way it is and it's soooo much cheaper. I wish they were like Squires where the whole thing looks just like it's big brother the Fender but there you go.
