Mahogany body and neck and is 34" scale.

It has one Sidewinder humbucker and a mini-humbucker.

Mine is a cherry color but I think they do it in black.

Looks just like an SG for those who aren't sure of the model.

As a Cream fan this is a great bass to have. It's great for the old school sound - not sure if it would suit a player in a modern band.

Put through a big amp you'd get a real big sound - just think big and smooth tone.

Action, Fit & Finish: [7]
Needed to set it up better - got it mail order so I don't expect it got treated to a setup at all. Still, that was no big deal and I had a better bass in less than 20 minutes.

Reliability & Durability: [8]
It's got a heavy neck so don't let go! :) I treat my bass with a lot of respect and care so durability shouldn't be a problem. It's well made anyway. Oh and don't forget to get a hard case - set necks make me nervous in gig bags.

Like I said above this is great for that old school sound and you just gotta love how it looks. If your guitarist uses and SG - EVEN BETTER!

It is a pity the bass is a bit neck heavy but you have to expect that with this style body. I'm real pleased with this Epiphone as they are such good value.
