PricePaid: 489 USD (New) Purchased From: Eastwood Model Year: 2007 Features: [1] DISAPPOINTING!!! This guitar is made in China the material used for the body construction appears to be a low quality. Wile the guitar doesn't look bad the sound is only enhanced by the fact that the pickups seem to improve the tone. I would caution against wasting your money. I have 39 guitars and this is probably one of the worst. Sounds: [3] I play a lot of different styles of music but this 12 string was purchased to get something of a birds tone. The pickups seem to do this ok but there is a definite lack of tone due to the body material. Action, Fit & Finish: [1] The set up needed word as most guitars do but it wasn't bad other than the intonation seemed to have some difficulty due to overtones since the tailpiece rests on the top as opposed to a floating trapeze style tailpiece. Reliability & Durability: [1] The chrome parts are mostly plastic with a cheap chroming, the pickguard is embarassing with a mirror finish plastic. It has difficulty staying in tune due to the tailpiece and the way you thread the strings. Overall Rating: [0] I would caution against the purchase of any Eastwood guitars if this is the quality of their instruments.
