This guitar is the one used by Jimmy Page during his long electro fingerstyle sets it was also Syd Barrett during the early Pink Floyd days

These instruments were cheap introductions to the electric guitar that were produced during the 50s and 60s they have abtained cult status and the one i now own is a late 90s reprodution of these classics.

its a thin body double cutaway made from birch laminate with bakealite control knobs . The finish is jet black with a long swirling white scratchplate, the pickups are Danelectro single coil lipstick style.

I bought the guitar with the Danelectro yellow tweed hard case

Sounds: [8]
I use this guitar for 60s style music and electro slide blues for which it is perfect it has a bright sometimes harsh sound listen to the first Pink Floyd album that will give you the idea.

Action, Fit & Finish: [8]
low action could do with being higher for slide , its hard to compare with anything else apart from possibly thr Telecaster which often gives the same sound

Reliability & Durability: [5]
its cheap and an occasional guitar so not sure about constant use tuners are the most basic you can get so it requires a lot of tuning

Overall Rating: [9]
great guitar with vintage tone i love it and actually bought another Danelectro the U2, play before purchase as the tone is very distinct.
