PricePaid: 100 USD (New) Purchased From: N/A Model Year: 2000Features / Ease of Use: [6] Not a lot of features really - just a 7 band equalizer. +/- 15 db with each band and an overall volume slider.
Just play with the sliders until you get the sound you want. Like any equalizer it is not hard to use. However, it will take some time experimenting to get the best sound and be prepared to alter things at different venues etc.
Sound: [8] Useful to cut the chance of feedback - this often varies with the acoustics of different venues so you can shape your sound to suit.
When the pedal is off it is also very quiet which is essential and cheaper pedals are not so good at this. Obviously when using it if you boost the highs too much you are gonna get some hiss. That's not really the pedal just the nature of boosting highs.
Reliability & Durability: [9] It's been working problem free for nearly 6 years. Boss pedals have got a reputation for lasting a long time and can take some abuse too. Overall Rating: [8] I use mine primarily to give me a boost during a solo and also, as I use a semi acoustic, to reduce feedback.
