PricePaid: 29 GBP (New) Purchased From: Digital Village Model Year: 2007Features / Ease of Use: [10] This is an AB box. You either plug one guitar into it and switch between two outputs/amps, or you plug it into one amp and switch between two guitars.
It's the most boring piece of kit coz it doesn't really do anything, but it's also one of the most excellent pieces I own.
I use it live to switch between an acoustic and an electric guitar both going to the same amp.
It only has one feature but it does it brilliantly! Sound: [10] I use a Fender Telecaster and a Washburn Tanglewood electro acoustic. The AB2 allows me to switch between the two guitars into my Musicman combo.
The switching is silent. That's the best feature about this pedal - it doesn't "clunk" like some of the other's I've had. Also, it doesn't lose any tone or volume. Reliability & Durability: [10] It's a Boss! Overall Rating: [10] Like I said, it doesn't do anything to the sound, it's not an effect, but if you want to silently switch between two inputs or outputs, it's just what you need.
If I had to be picky, £29 is a lot of money, and there are cheaper options, but I know that I can rely on this. |
