PricePaid: 55.00 USD (New) Purchased From: Ebay Model Year: 2009 Features / Ease of Use: [9] 3 knobs, Volume, tone & drive. Plus a 3 way toggle switch with TS, bright & warm. True bypass on/off switch. Sound: [10] The beauty of this pedal is you can really change the sound of the pedal by changing the op amp yourself. It has a battery compartment door on the bottom and gives you quick access to pop out op amp socket.Most op amps can be bought for about $2 or $3, and they all sound a little different. Now add in the gain , tone & 3 way selector and the sounds are infinite. I use it with a 66 Bassman head & a 15" jbl cab, an Ibanez SZ720 or BC Rich Eagle archtop. I wouldn't say it is noisier than an other dirt box, they all add something when engaged. Reliability & Durability: [10] Very solid construction,stainless steel box, no problems in 2 years. Overall Rating: [9] Don't let the $55 price fool you, This is a great sounding pedal that is very tweak able to most anyone's sound for rock, blues & hard rock. I don't think metal heads would think it has enough distortion or compression. I have a lot of overdrive pedals and this my go to for a nice singing sustained lead. If I lost it, I would have to replace it. I take 1 point off because the 3 knobs turn to easily for liking.
