Basically, it is a "practice" combo with a 15" speaker.

This is the newer version rated at 100 watts - I think the older ones were 65 watts.

There is also a headphone sockets and you can connect an 8 ohm extension cab.

Bass, middle and treble controls, with a deep switch.

Sound: [7]
It's got a nice warm tone and sounds great with my Precision and my Jazz Bass (both Mexican)

The deep switch gives it a great extra kick.

Reliability & Durability: [9]
Everything is good so far - touch wood.

I mainly use this for pratice at home but does go out for small gigs - and it can cope.

Overall Rating: [8]
It's a nice simple amp - if you want something a little bigger for practice it will serve you well. If you are only doing small gigs then it's fine for that too.

For the money it's a good price. It's my first Ashdown bass amp and I think when I am ready for something bigger I'll be checking out their other stuff.
